It took their existing 7-inch line, but applied a standard of collector-friendly packaging, decor, and accessories to create a line that now spans multiple franchises, such as the earliest Terminator, Aliens, and Predator figures to the most recent releases from the likes of Sesame Street and Terrifier. "In 2014, NECA set a new standard for collector action figures with the Ultimate format. Now, we’re going beyond Ultimate with...ULTRAmate!" NECA have now teased a new line of action figures it is calling Ultramate. There are no further details as yet as to if this is a further enhancement of the 7-inch lines to match what McFarlane are doing with the Elite series, or even aspire to the level of Mezco's One:12 collection. As expected, and revealed at the CCXP event in Mexico, are the first Marvel Legends figures from the upcoming 2026 Spider-Man movie Brand New Day. The first of the figures is of course Spider-Man in his new suit and complete with extra hands and web effects. Spidey is joined by a Deluxe Hulk who includes two head options, extra hands and a removable ripped shirt. The set also comes with two larger web effects that allow Hulk's hands to be tied up by Spider-Man. Both Hulk and Spider-Man go up for pre-order immediately at all stockists. They are expected to ship in July 2026. The third reveal was a new Marvel Legends Spider-Noir figure. While it is, of course, linking in with the upcoming Amazon series, it is not directly from the show and is a revisit of the existing comic book figure. The Star Wars portion of the Hasbro CCXP panel in Mexico included news across both the Star Wars Black Series and the Vintage Collection. For the Vintage Collection, we had the reveal for a 3.75-inch Devon Izara figure from Maul: Shadow Lord, complete with cape and lightsaber. She will be an Autumn 2026 mainline release. Also from Maul: Shadow Lord, we will see a Maul roleplay Black Series lightsaber which will land in the Autumn. This will be a 30th of April pre-order and it will ship in the Autumn of 2026. In the Black Series figure line, and kicking off The Mandalorian and Grogu world tour promotion, we got the reveal for the Imperial Remnant Warlord, who comes with a soft goods fur-lined coat, blaster, and the MSE 'Polar' Droid we see in the trailer. The Warlord is numbered 11 in the collection, meaning we can expect four more reveals still to come as seen on the Hasbro poster shared when the line first launched. McFarlane's next DC Multiverse releases have been unveiled, starting with Shazam from Power of Shazam. He is joined by Starman from Jack Knight and by a DC Classic release of Larfleeze. Shazam will come with an alternative pair of hands, Starman with his staff, and Larfleeze with lantern construct and twin effect pieces for the hands. Revealed by McFarlane and joining their Mortal Kombat Klassic series are new 7-inch scale figures of Johnny Cage and Ermac. Johnny Cage will include an alternative pair of hands and a removable pair of sunglasses. Ermac will come with a second pair of clenched fists. Following on from the previous releases in both blue and brown decor, this 2026 release will come with a jet black slimy decor. Like the previous releases, the figure stands 9 inches tall and has full articulation, including the hinged jaw and inner secondary jaw, and the wired tail. The set will come with the Aliens Egg accessory, chestburster, and a facehugger. The Ultimate Alien Warrior (Black) is packed into an Ultimate format box with an opening front cover and features the 40th Anniversary logo. It will ship in the last quarter (October - December) of 2026. Hiya Toys Rocky series will see the next release as Rocky Balboa, as seen in Rocky IV from 1985. The Exquisite Super release features Rocky in Apollo's stars-and-stripes shorts, and wearing white boots and red gloves. You can replicate his ring entrance with the included soft goods boxing robe embroidered on the back with 'Balboa'. For the end of the bout with Drago, there is a second bloodied head option nad you also get alternative hands for varied posing. McFarlane's latest reveals for their DC Multiverse series include Bronze Tiger from the New 52, O.M.A.C. from Infinite Crisis, and a DC Classic release of Eclipso. Bronze Tiger will come with an alternative pair of hands, while O.M.A.C. has an alternative tentacle hands. Eclipso will feature three additional hand options.
