McFarlane DC Multiverse

The big news for the start of 2020 was the full details of McFarlane's long awaited DC Multiverse line. A press release landed with us on the 2nd of January and it confirmed the full line up of Series 1 with 12 figures available at launch.

The figures are 7-inch in scale and have 22 points of articulation. They are taken from various DC media sources including comics, animated shows and the live action TV shows. There is a small vehicle and a build-a-batmobile packed with 3 of the figures. The figures will be available very soon with pre-orders going live across most retailers.

Checkout the full press release HERE and then follow through the links to see images of the figures. I've also setup a checklist page for reference.

McFarlane Cyberpunk 2077

McFarlane's newest property was unveiled as Cyberpunk 2077, with the first figures landing in Spring 2020 at the same time the video game launches. The 7-inch figures will kick off with the male V (main playable character) and two variants of Johnny Silverhand - as modelled in the game on Keanu Reeves.

Pennywise is back

NECA's packaging reveals continue with the new box design for their Pennywise (IT, 2017) 8-inch figure unveiled.

Diamond Select product reveals

Marvel Select Hulk & Castlevania

The Diamond Select team were unveiling a number of new packaged figures as we headed towards January 2020.

The packaging for their general release Avengers Endgame Hulk confirmed this is going to be called the Nano Gauntlet Hulk, and it will contain an extra set of hands and the Nano Gauntlet vs the Disney Store release.

The Castlevania figures also ship in January and the first wave of three figures from the Netflix show look pretty cool.

And we even got a look at what Diamond have planned for Castlevania Series 2 with new figures of Dracula, Carmilla and Godbrand. ETA on these is Summer 2020.

Super7 confirm Thundercats Wave 2

Thundercats Ho! Wave 2 of the 7-inch Ultimates line of Thundercats has been unveiled by Super7. Pre-orders are live through January 2020 for the 4 new figures of Tygra, Pumyra, Grune the Destroyer and the Ever Living Mumm-Ra!

Batman 4-inch figures

by Spinmasters

The new 4-inch DC line from Spinmasters is a little outside our usual coverage, but it is good to see what is happening with the DC stuff since the split from Mattel and more kid focused Spinmasters line over the still to be seen McFarlane collectors product. Checkout the new Batmobile and Batcycle too. Read the full article here.
