One of the benefits of my main job is I get to travel extensively in the UK, and while I am away I do my best where time allows to visit Collectable Stores, and in rare cases to uncover new ones.
This past week on trips that started in Suffolk and ended in Cumbria I had the opportunity to find two new stores - and we've now added them to our UK Store Directory.
Up first was DJ Collectables in Stowmarket. Sitting on the high street this store sells a combination of scale-model Railways and new and vintage collectables. Figures up for grabs included POTF2 Star Wars figures, 6" Black Series and Marvel Legends.
And then I came across Toys N Tech in Carlisle. This relatively new store is a mix of pocket money toys, jigsaws & games and a smattering of collectables including statues and figures.
As a bonus I called in on the Meadowhall centre in Sheffield to visit Avalon (a previous find) and was pleased to see The Lanes had another new collectable store - The Shop Under the Stairs. As the name suggests, this store is a Harry Potter collectors dream - and while the merchandise was predominantly prop replica's etc, there was some high end collectible figures up for grabs.
And it is not just me that is uncovering new stores. Over the past few weeks we've been told about some great stores in Rhyl, North Wales and in Dudley in the Midlands. These store and more are now uploaded to our directory....
