NECA have released this image showing the outer sleeve packaging for the Ultimate Gremlin figure. The release uses the original movie poster as a cover with the VHS like side spine.
The Ultimate Gremlin should arrive before Christmas according to Randy Falk at NECA, although it is unclear if that will be realised for the UK at this stage.
The Ultimate Gremlin will include numerous accessories to allow you to display your Gremlin in different scenarios. These include pop corn bags that fit over the ears as well as playing cards and a pitcher of beer. NECA have tweeted in response to a collector that they did explore including the crossbow, pistol and balaclava - but these were rejected by the licence holder.
To honor the first appearance of a Gremlin in our Ultimate line, NECA has completely re-sculpted the original 1984 Gremlin body!
Any fans of the Gremlins movies knows the rules: keep them out of sunlight, don't get them wet, and never feed them after midnight. Break them and your fuzzy, friendly little Mogwai will turn into a scaly, savage Gremlin, like this deluxe 7-inch scale figure (stands approximately 15 cm tall).
The all new body features over 25 points of articulation, including ears and jaw. This Ultimate edition comes with popcorn bags that can be placed over the ears like in the movie, assorted candy, mug, playing cards, 3D glasses and more.
