Mattel He-Man and Prince Adam 2-pack SDCC 2019 Exclusive

By the Power of Greyskull... Mattel have announced, via Nerdist, that they will be bringing an exclusive He-Man action figure set to San Diego Comic-Con 2019 as an exclusive. The set features figures of He-Man and Prince Adam sculpted in the vintage style of the original 1980's Master of the Universe line.

Both figures include nods to the original concept art and Mattel mini-comics such as He-Man's knife accessory and Adam's vest. There are some modern additions though with swap out hands so that the figures can hold the various weapons included in the set. There are also alternative head options for both figures based on the original toys.

The set will be boxed in special window packaging that folds out for display. There will be a pre-sale on the Mattel website come the 17th of June with the set shipping out after SDCC 2019. Stock will also be on sale at the Mattel booth at San Diego.

"The Set includes one He-Man figure and one Prince Adam figure, both styled to look like the vintage versions of the characters. Prince Adam wears his removable blue vest, while He-Man has a removable knife accessory tucked into his boot, a detail that super fans will recognize from early concept art. The blue instead of pink vest for Adam might seem odd to fans of the classic animated series, but it’s what Adam wore in the original Mattel mini-comics back in the day.

Sixteen points of modern hinge-and-ball joint articulation let fans pose and play with these figures like never before. He-Man comes with axe, shield, and Power Sword. And both figures have three sets of interchangeable hands for dynamic posing and interchangeable heads based on the sculpts of the original toys. Colors and decorations may vary."
