Our YouTube channel & videos may be basic, and was trying to give an alternative to reading the longer written reviews we publish on the website. But it does have a small following and was on track to contribute a small amount annually to our growing website hosting costs.
Sadly, YouTube have today changed the criteria for being paid for advertising and our channel will be removed until such time we can show 1000 followers and 4000 hours watch time.
I now have some thinking to do on how to proceed. There is quite a bit of time being invested in YouTube and while the money is not everything (I fund the site mainly as a hobby from my own pocket) this may now be best spent elsewhere.
